Elvia received her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders from Cal State Long Beach, CA. She worked as a speech therapist in both private and public-school settings treating students ages 3-21 in Los Angeles, California. She received her M.S., in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Georgia State University and is currently a BCBA. As Clinical Training Manager, Elvia focuses on the onboarding and ongoing development of clinical skills for technicians who provide direct treatment for our clients. Her goal is to teach ABA skills and provide methodological soundness to treatment. Outside of the office, Elvia enjoys going to shows and exploring the city on her one-wheel.
The Marcus Autism Center Crisis Prevention Program was designed by licensed psychologists, physical therapists and behavior analysts to help professionals manage severe problem behavior. In this training, participants acquire high-quality crisis management skills that safely prevent, manage, and de-escalate crisis situations involving children and adolescents.
